We have been doing a great job with our daily 5. Here we are doing our 'Reading to Someone'
Lions:
We were reading books about the duckling palace. The group had to pick out the nouns from the book. Here they are:
Hippos:
Have been reading all about Volcanoes and disasters that have happened around the world. They use Tagxedo and Wordle to brainstorm different words to decribe volcanic disasters
Zebras:
We have been reading the book Lost so we made our own lost picture in case our pets got lost.
Hippos:
We practised our play od the Elves and the Shoemaker, here we are performing the play to the rest of the class.

WALT- find information and present it in different ways. We used books, the library and the internet to find information about different animals.
Lions:
We have learning to make our reading sound more fluent.
Giraffes:
We have been reading non-fiction texts and learning information about Casts and Budgies.

We read the book, let's make music. The main characters were dinosaurs who were playing different musical instruments.

We are reading Basil's Night Out
We have been looking at the different adjectives in the story. We wrote some of the adjectives into new sentences and put them into Wordle.

Giraffes Group:
We are reading Goldilocks and the 3 Bears
These are the drawings we did about them using Kids Pix, we were thinking about what the characters looked liked and how they acted. We acted out a play as well and used different voices to make it more realistic.
